A note to Volunteers, Guardians, Parents at FLY Workshops

Children are often in spaces where their behavior is directed, outcomes are evaluated and value is determined by success of final product. FLY is a space for kids to create without external judgment, guided by their own curiosity.

Ask questions like “What’s happening here?” or “What are you working on?” Notice the decision making and effort by saying “I see you tried something new,” or “I see you changed your plan”.
